Day 10 (Wednesday) Update

Moved back to Nuffield hospital to the same room as I left, at 2pm. Feeling great after a lovely shower. Sat in the courtyard with ilke and then had real food for dinner comprising of a mushroom soup starter (had half); scrambled egg with cheese (blended); and banoffee pie, puréed. Sounds awful, but it was the original food just liquified, so it tasted bloody awesome!

So far all good for tomorrow’s release to home.

To end on a more odder note, the nurse counted 13 holes (not including my a-hole!!!) where robotic instruments were used to insert in body, drains from chest and a larger exit hole to pass the affected organs through. Gross… but they are all healing nicely.
