Endoscopy

Back to hospital today. Saw the surgeon and he performed an Endoscopy under sedation. He examined the new join between my stretched stomach and base of throat/oesophagus. As it’s only 4 weeks post operation he used a balloon to very gently expand the hole to allow food to pass through easier.

He will have me back in a month’s time to stretch it further as the scar tissue heals. Hopefully in the next few days I may be able to eat food without it getting stuck all the time.

Lungs update: improving. Not 100% by a long stretch but I’m not as breathless as I was and I’ve started experimenting sleeping on my side a little.
