The day before the op

It’s my last day at home today. Packing a small bag with some essentials and some electronic gizmos so I can be distracted in hospital. Had a haircut and shaved too.

Later today we leave to go to hospital in Guildford and I will be nil-by-mouth now until the operation the following morning.
